Costumed Craft and Produce Fair

St Boniface Fair

This annual fair is an attempt to recreate an 18th century Burgh Fair. It was in 1977, the Queen's Silver Jubilee year, that a group of enterprising residents had the idea of recreating a fair and to have the stall holders in costume to create atmosphere.

Stalls, entertanment and games.

A malt whisky is hidden in the bag. Can you guess which one?

Stalls sell local food stuff- vegetables fruits and animal products from the homestead, croft or small farm. There are local crafts of pottery, woodwork, jewellery and a variety of items made from cloth. You may also find sweet treats and love potions!

It was a great afternoon, such fun, and so many delightful people. The teas were delicious!
